Terms & Conditions

It is mutually agreed that the booking form and the following terms and conditions of agreement form an integral part of the contract, that bookings are accepted on these terms and conditions only, and that no variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless accepted in writing by both parties.

Photography Services

1. All photography will not be subject to any form of copyright or print restrictions.
2. A deposit of £100 is charged to confirm booking of services. This deposit constitutes the booking of the service to be provided by David Draffan and not for carrying out the service itself.
3. Should you need to cancel a previously confirmed booking the following charges will be applicable: (i) within one month of the wedding day the full balance is chargeable. (ii) outside one month of the confirmed wedding date, no further request for payment will be sought. (iii) Deposits are non refundable but are transferrable.
4. The outstanding balance will be paid in full no later than 28 days before the date of the wedding.
5. Artistic licence will be granted in relation to the poses photographed and the locations used. David Draffan’s judgements regarding the locations and number of photographs taken will be deemed correct.
6. In the unlikely event that photographic imagery fails to materialise due to any cause, liability will be limited to the refunding of all monies paid.
7. David Draffan cannot be held responsible, or provide refunds, for the lack of coverage caused by any person of the wedding party being delayed for any reason, or on the policy of the church or licensed place of wedding or adverse weather conditions which limit the artistic scope of photography.
8. If you ask David Draffan to provide any additional services not included on the original booking form for the event, these may be subject to additional charges and would be carried out under these terms and conditions.
9. I hereby allow David Draffan to display, for advertising and/or promotional purposes, any imagery related to this wedding.
10. Some venues will have limited camera placement and other restrictions which will need to be complied with. David Draffan cannot be held responsible for any issues arising from these imposed restrictions.
11. You are responsible for ensuring that all consents are given prior to the event to allow David Draffan to carry out the agreed services.  This includes, but is not limited to, permission to photograph in the chosen venues and permission of persons involved in the event including any musicians and or entertainers and to pay any fees charged by them.
12.  You are responsible for notifying David Draffan of any consent issues at least 28 days prior to the event.
13. If selected, David Draffan will obtain the appropriate PPL (Phonographic Performance Ltd) & MCPS (Mechanical Copyright Protection Society) licences for the use of copyrighted music.
14. Access to venues should be available at least 1 hour prior to the event to allow photography to take place.  You are responsible for arranging this.  Where this is not possible you will inform David Draffan at least 14 days prior to the event.
